Neco Arc (, Neko Aruku) is a pint-sized cat spirit that acts as the mascot of TYPE-MOON. She accompanies Ciel-sensei during the "Teach Me, Ciel-sensei!" segments that appear after the player experiences one of the bad endings in the Tsukihime series. Neco-Arc and her fellow Neco Spirits run Ahnenerbe, a strange coffee shop that once every ten years allows the worlds to converge.
A gimmicky zoner and rushdown hybrid, she utilizes laser beams and summon-based setplay to control the game. However, her tiny normals and painfully slow zoning movements can leave her vulnerable to well-timed counterpokes. She also has the lowest health in the game, making her a challenge to play against. Neco-Arc compensates for these flaws with her unconventional movement and gimmicks. Among her notable quirks are j214X, a teleport that can change direction and j315X, a floaty air dash. The latter can be used to safejump opponents and can be blocked while she is in a floating state.
