Après les albums de Joy Division, c'est au tour des cinq premiers de New Order de subir un lifting : "Movement", "Power, Corruption & Lies", "Low-Life", "Brotherhood" et "Technique" seront réédités dans des versions remasterisées, agrémentés d'un second CD live et pourraient, dans leur version US, être augmentée de titres rares et faces B. Sortie en septembre.

que comme les Réeditions de Dead Can Dance, qui étaient prévues le 16 juin, ce ne soit pas encore une arlésienne! sinon,rdv en décembre! lol!

En espérant surtout qu'il y ait des bonus intéressants.

Donc, réedittion des 5 premiers albums avec pour chaque un deuxième CD avec des titres sortis à l'époque en maxi (A sides, B sides, Instrus, Remixes ...) . Pas vraiment palpitant pour ceux qui sont déjà bien fournis en New Order (y'a qd même cette fameuse version de 17 min de Elegia qui m'interrresse à donf) ; par contre pour les novices ça vaut le coup (surtout pour Movement et PC&L à mon avis).

Bah franchement je m'attendais pas à mieux. Je doute que New Order ait sous le coude des fonds de tiroir de la grande époque. Ces rééditions c'est encore un coup de biz tout comme le tas de compiles parues ces dernières années ou la série des 12 12" de remixes sortie y'a un an ou deux. Je pense que quand t'as déjà tous les LP et les maxis de la période " Movement " - " Technique " toutes ces compiles et rééditions t'apportes quasiment rien. Ils auraient parait-il 7 titres enregistrés à l'époque de " Waiting for the Sirens' Call " dans leur cartons, mais ça je sais même pas si j'ai envie de les entendre...

Hors Commerce: Suite à de multiples plaintes concernant la qualité du travail relatif à la réédition et la compilation des cinq premiers albums du groupe parus le mois dernier, New Order et son label Warner ont décidé de retirer ces albums de la vente. Le groupe a déclaré "Nous sommes actuellement en train de corriger ces problèmes, mais il ne faut pas oublier que du fait de l'âge et de l'état des enregistrements originaux, la qualité du son peu varier". Un argument qui peut peut-être justifier une partie des 300 erreurs relevées par les fans du groupe, mais pas la plus grande partie (erreur de nommage de titres en tête).
