Bon Chris Olley vient de l'annoncer via la (sérieuse) newsletter du groupe, cette fois ci c'est fini et bien fini. Les explications ne sont évidemment pas claires mais on pense à des problèmes humains...

Deux albums posthumes prévus "très bientôt".

"After more than 12 years of playing in six.byseven, I have to announce that I have finally left the band for good and there will be no more gigs. I made the decision some weeks ago but needed some time to sit on it so that I knew that I had made the right decision.

I am now in the midst of writing a solo album and assembling a new band and am very excited about the future. I will also be continuing with Twelve and f***me USA but I don't know when I will next get around to finishing the work off on these projects as I am so busy with the solo project now.

What this means is that the six.byseven website will now be dormant as far as any news is concerned. There will be 2 final posthumous six.byseven releases very soon. I will be putting up my demo's for the last album we were working on and there will also be the 2 hours of music that was the final ever gig in Nottingham at Junktion 7. The fan club is also now closed down.

As the band is no more, I have slashed all the prices on every record and every download on the site to less than £5. This includes the best of, so c'mon everybody buy one and pass on the six.byseven vibe to friends and family this Christmas. Once the stock has run out I will put everything up for download so that the website can just run itself in future.

All it remains for me to say is a big thank you to the many many people who sent me kind e mails since the last newsletter and thanks to everyone who supported my band over the years. It wasn't to be but I believe six.byseven was an important band and I have no regrets but now look forward to doing something different with my music, life and friendships. I will also be writing a book on the story of the band, which will tell the hilarious and unexpergated truth!
