Tiré de "Here's Where The Strings Come In", "Hyper Enough" EP comporte trois titres au style très varié (rare pour du Superchunk).
"Hyper Enough" met la patate, avec son rythme comme à la poste (de timbré) et son son énorme; suit "Never Too Young To Smoke", chanson tortueuse et névrosée aux guitares acérées et à la basse effrayante. Enfin, "Detroit Has A Skyline" clôture cet EP en beauté, morceau acoustique (avec orgue !) si émouvant, rappelant fortement Portastatic.
