GEOFF BARROW {PORTISHEAD} and friends RELEASE BEAK> ALBUM
BEAK> were formed in January 2009 by three Bristol musicians, Billy Fuller, Matt Williams and Geoff Barrow.
The band have very strict guidelines governing the recording and writing process of their work. The music was recorded live in one room with no overdubs or repair, only using edits to create arrangements. All tracks were written over a twelve-day session in SOA Studios, Bristol. The album is to be released on the 19th of october 2009 on Invada Records Europe and ipecac in North America.
A limited edition box set version of the album will be available from September direct from the Invada website. Inside a specially designed black Beak> box will be a CD version of the album, a limited edition CD EP, 12" vinyl with 2 bonus tracks and a T Shirt.

On retrouve dans le jeu de Barrow pas mal d'éléments de "3" je trouve...c'est excellent

Ah ah ! Très drôle ! Et dire qu'ils avaient annoncé un prochain album de Portishead dans la foulée de 3 ! Vraiment tous les mêmes ces vieux briscards.
