"Ballad of the Broken Seas", fruit de la collaboration entre l'ex de Belle & Sebastian, Isobel Campbell, et Mark Lanegan, sera produit par Isobel et sortira en février 2006. Une édition limitée 7'' sortira début décembre au Royaume-Uni. A noter que des dates vont être programmées pour 2006.

Ajoutons que Isobel sortira un second album solo "Milk White Sheets", prévu lui, pour avril 2006.

Isobel Campbell est programmée pour le 9ème "Festival Les Femmes S'En Mêlent," qui aura lieu du 17 au 23 avril 2006 (pour Paris, puis tournée en province de certaies artistes, comme à l'accoutumée).

En revanche, ce sera pas Lanegan qui l'accompagnera, mais Eugene Kelly des Vaselines et Eugenius

Leur prochain album sortira le 5 mai et s'intitulera "sunday at devil's dirt",de plus pour ceux qui l'auraient raté avec the gutter twins,je viens d'acheter ma place pour le 6 juin à paris (la cigale).

J'étais hier à Hasselt.

Excellent concert!

Voici mon compte rendu que j'ai écrit en anglais sur un autre forum

I was at the show yesterday in Hasselt!

And again what a concert!

Circus is leaving town is probably my favorite moment of the evening! what a song! They played Wedding dress and another one from his solo album (sorry I really can't recall wich one sorry!)

Isobel was really relax and spoke with audience quite a lot!

Mark also talked a lot! He even made all the audience laugh!
Here is what happened:

During the whole show Isobel made the metronom (sorry for the spelling... ) with her hand to give the right tempo the rest of the band. After one song she said "when I know I look stupid doing this but hey! I'm the boss! It's not easy everyday! Now I know how Tony soprano felt like" lanegan laugh a lot at his.

Later during the show, still making the same move with her hand to give the tempo, Isobel said " I'm gonna fly if I continue doing this, like in Peter Pan"

Then Lanegan made a really funny face in response to that.

Isobel ask him "what is that face?"

Lanegan: It a grinch!

Isobel: A Grinch? A happy grinch I hope!"

Lanegan: "yes of course!"


Then Isobel ask him to why he is always dress in black and why he never wear green or grey.

Lanegan answer: "sorry not gonna happen!"

Then Isobel says that some friends told her that lanegan sometimes wears red!

Lanegan starts laughing and answers "only when I'm at home in a festive mood"


I think it was a really sweet moment. You could see in there eyes that they love each other a lot. And respect to Isobel who made Lanegan speak during a concert! Bravo!

Hmmmm moi je vais les voir à Barcelone le 13 décembre, j´ai hâte d´y être! (surtout que ça sera suivi d´un concert de Deerhoof!)

Ouais ben vas-y surtout pour Deerhoof, parce que pour les autres c'est chiantissime et sans interêt sur scène.
