Je viens de recevoir le texte ci-dessous annonçant la fermeture du magasin Le Subalterne... Dommage car ce disquaire qui vendait surtout de l'occase était vraiment spécialisé indé et proposait un choix très intéressant, malgré un vendeur pas toujours des plus rigolos.

J'ai demandé la liste que j'ai obtenu en fichier Excel. Ca vaut vraiment la peine : les EP à 2 $ et les albums à 3 ou 5 $, avec un choix excellent. Avis aux amateurs !

Le subalterne ferme ses portes (an other one bites the dust).

Texte : Next June will indeed mark the end of the line for Le Subalterne as the store will permanently close its doors after almost six years of existence. Honestly speaking, I probably could have kept the store open for another year but I'd rather pack my things and bail out with some money in my pocket and a sizeable CD collection before the music retail industry's collapse reaches its final stage and the oncoming recession sweeps us over.

There's going to be a huge closing sale starting at the beginning of May for all used CDs (2$ to 5$ for single-unit CDs) and the beginning of June for all new CDs (8$ to 12$ for single-unit CDs). A catalog of all used titles w/ sale prices is available in the form of an Excel file which can be sent via email to anyone who's interested. You can request it by emailing me at:

Requests to put aside items in advance at sale price are accepted if those items are still available comes May. A catalog of all new titles w/ sale prices will also soon be made available.
